PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Societe Generale indicated on Tuesday that Frédéric Oudéa, its chief executive since 2008, would not seek the renewal of his term of office as director and chief executive in May 2023.
This announcement was made at the bank’s general meeting on Tuesday.
A selection process for the general manager “by 2023” was decided by the board of directors on the proposal of the appointments and corporate governance committee, the bank said in a press release.
Frédéric Oudéa’s mandate expires for the general meeting of May 23, 2023.
“The board of directors took note of this decision and renewed its confidence in Frédéric Oudéa to lead the group until this deadline”, underlined Societe Generale.
