A broken friendship. For several weeks, Shannen Doherty has been speaking in her podcast entitled Let’s Be Clear (“Let’s be clear” in French). In the episode released Monday, December 11, the 52-year-old actress received her long-time friend and partner in the cult series Charmed, Holly Marie Combs. Together, those who respectively played Prue and Piper Halliwell looked back on their friendship, born even before joining the cast in 1998. However, if the two actresses seem more united than ever, their relationships have not always been easy. And according to Kurt Iswarienko’s ex-wife, this sudden estrangement was caused by… Alyssa Milano, the third Halliwell sister in the series. According to the eldest sibling, Phoebe’s interpreter would have been at the origin of a “strange fracture” between the two friends.

I waited twenty-four hours after your operation to go. Alyssa and her mother were stopping people from seeing you and you didn’t know it. I remember you texting me: ‘Are you going to come see me?'”

Faced with this absence at her bedside, Holly Marie Combs would have felt “abandoned” by her friend. “I can feel your pain for having had this impression”specified the one who is fighting against cancer, before confiding: “I felt anger at this situation. It caused a strange rift between the two of us, and it continued throughout the second season. I think I cried about it every night.“
But that’s not all. Alyssa Milano also reportedly told the show’s producers that she or Shannen had to leave. Finally, after a short reflection, the actress Prue Halliwell decided to leave the hit series at the end of the third season.
