There are very serious allegations made by Hollywood star Sharon Stone, 66: In 1993, on the set of the thriller “Sliver,” she was said to have been asked to have sex with co-star William Baldwin, 61. That’s what the “Basic Instinct” star claims according to Variety magazines in a podcast. The film’s producer, Robert Evans, †89, made this incredible suggestion to her because it supposedly would have meant “better chemistry on screen.” An affair between the two would “save the film.”

Sharon Stone is being made an extreme demand

In 1993, just a year after the spicy Hollywood film “Basic Instinct”, Sharon Stone was confronted with an unbelievable demand on the set of “Sliver”. After the huge success of the spicy film, the plan was apparently to land a similar hit with “Sliver”. The new film was apparently intended to be as lascivious as the famous interrogation scene with Michael Douglas, 79, in which she crosses her legs. In “Sliver,” Stone plays a book editor who moves into an exclusive apartment building in New York City and discovers that the residents have dark secrets. According to the script, an affair should develop between her and another resident, played by William Baldwin. But apparently the chemistry between the main actors isn’t enough for the producer.

“If I slept with Billy Baldwin, his performance would be better”

There is supposedly a questionable conversation between her and producer Robert Evans: “He’s running around in his office with sunglasses on and telling me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin. Because if I sleep with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would get better,” the 66-year-old recalls of her conversation with Evans. “And we needed Billy to get better in the movie because that was the problem. If I could sleep with Billy then we would have good chemistry on screen, and if I just had sex with him then that would be it Save the film,” said Stone in the latest episode of “The Louis Theroux Podcast.” What is particularly astonishing about these incredible statements is that the actress blames herself for the situation. “The real problem in the film was me because I was so uptight and not like a real actress who could just have sex with him and fix things. The real problem was that I was so uptight,” she says finally out. While her revelation paints a disturbing picture of the collaboration, her co-star seems to have a more angry reaction.

William Baldwin: “Does she still have a crush on me?”

Robert Evans died in 2019, which is why he cannot comment on the statements made, but William Baldwin is now responding to Sharon’s interview. He wrote on “Because I rejected her advances?” He even goes a step further and claims that he has “a lot of dirt on her.” He also writes: “I wonder if I should write a book and tell the many, many disturbing, perverted and unprofessional stories about Sharon?” Harsh tones that he expresses, but as he writes, he himself seems to find it “funny” if he were to make his “revelations”.
