Sharon Stone is said to have caused a car accident last year. A victim has now filed a lawsuit against the actress.

Actress Sharon Stone (66) is being sued for $35,000 in damages over an alleged car accident. How The US magazine “People” reported that a woman filed the lawsuit for property damage and personal injury in Los Angeles Superior Court on April 24.

Plaintiff accuses Sharon Stone of driving too fast

“Defendant Sharon Vonne Stone caused the collision by driving too fast for traffic conditions and making an unsafe turn,” People quotes from the filing. The “Basic Instinct” star is accused of driving at high speeds and performing “unsafe” car maneuvers that led to her colliding with another car, damaging it and injuring a woman. This emphasizes that the damage amounts to 35,000 US dollars and is now demanding compensation in this amount.

According to court documents, the incident occurred on June 30, 2023, southbound at the U.S. Route 101 exit at Coldwater Canyon Avenue in Los Angeles. The accident victim claims Stone was “negligently owning, operating, driving, managing and maintaining a vehicle” at the time and struck her own car, causing her “personal injury and property damage.” The documents state that the actress violated at least three California traffic laws – speeding, turning unsafely and changing lanes unsafely.

The plaintiff emphasized that she had also had to accept loss of wages as a result of the accident. In addition, she had to pay hospital and medical costs and suffered “emotional distress”, “economic harm” and “non-economic harm”.
