She-Hulk on Disney +: who is this supervillain that we see at the end of episode 1?

Who is this supervillain that we see at the end of episode 1 of She-Hulk? Don’t be fooled by her extravagant look, she’s a major enemy for our heroine…

In the Marvel comics

Titania, real name Mary MacPherran, is being bullied at school. Her classmates make fun of her because of her looks and call her “mosquito”. To make herself interesting, she pretends that she is Spider-Woman, because she has the same hair as her.

When those around her discover that she has lied, she runs away, ashamed. She then crosses paths with Doctor Doom who gives her his powers in exchange for his loyalty. She decides to rename herself Titania, because she wants everyone to see her as a super-powered Titan.

In terms of powers, Titania has superhuman strength and impenetrable skin… like a certain She-Hulk. She therefore decides to make her her main rival, fighting her on several occasions.

In She Hulk

The MCU’s Most Annoying Supervillain“, this is how Jameela Jamil describes his character in She-Hulk. The young woman makes a sensational entrance at the end of the first episode, only to be put down by the lawyer (Tatiana Maslany). We see almost nothing of her powers except her super-strength, we especially remember her ridiculous costume and her extravagant look.

In She-Hulk, Titania didn’t get her powers through Doctor Doom, but by being exposed to alien technology (which remains to be seen). Above all, she is a social media superstar, a pastiche of Tiktokers and Instagrammers. She is summoned to court for speeding, but her first face-to-face will take her directly to prison…
