Sunday August 6, 2023, Amandine Pellissard gave birth to her ninth child. A little girl whose parents have decided to call Maéna. Only, the latter should not have shown up until November 2023. She uttered her first cry three months ahead of schedule. As you can imagine, it is therefore a very fragile little baby who is making his debut on earth. At birth, Maéna weighed only 880 grams. His early days had been confined to survival. As the mother reported in a live broadcast on her social networks, on August 10, the little girl had been dehydrated and had lost weight due to the hydrotherapy sessions. On August 7, 2023, just after the birth of Maéna, Amandine Pellissard shared a photo of her “princess“. “Maéna, we were expecting you in November, and here you are on August 6, 2003 at 9:22 p.m. I hear your first cry. You are born at 26 weeks + 2 days. All my feelings are intertwined.
Despite your early term, I can give birth vaginally and without an epidural as I wish. I want to be in symbiosis with you, to accompany you, to feel you, that we are one until we are separated from the body by the incubator essential to your life. And we had a wonderful birth, your strength and your fragility are incredible! You are incredibly valiant, I am in awe of your innate courage. My daughter, here we go on a long journey, to lead the most beautiful fight, your fight, our fight.
