Lewis Haines, the one who strangled Lilly Sullivan after meeting her at Out Nightclubhas been heard by the Swansea Crown Court August 22, 2022. The timing of the incident dates back to December of last yearreports the Mirror. Lewis Haines, 31, and Lily Sullivan, 18, meet lduring an evening in a nightclub – I’Out Nightclub – located in Pembroke, South West Wales. Lewis Haines, father of a little girl and companion of Maisie John, says that it’s the first time he met Lily.
At his trial, Haines admitted having strangled Lily Sullivanbut was not motivated by sexual reasons. Lewis Haines strangled the girl right after she had a conversation with her mother, Anna Sullivan at 2:47 a.m. “I’ll be right there, mom. I am on my way. JI’m two minutes from here. I’m almost there“, she replied to her mother who was waiting for her at the Green Garage near the mill pond who had come to bring her back. Right after the call, Lily no longer gave any sign of life.

Anna Sullivan said she saw a man “walking nonchalantly, swinging his arms“.”As she waited for Lily, she noticed someone passing behind her car. He walked casually, waving his arms. He didn’t look at Anna Sullivan but he watched the people in the garage“, said prosecutor William Hughes QC. Lewis Haines began to act strangely, “he shook his head and held it in his hands. This happened at 3:09 in the morning“.
Anna Sullivan did not yet know that this man had just strangled his daughter a few steps away. Arriving home, Mr. Haines, panicked and hysterical, immediately confesses to his companion Maisie John thathe had just strangled someone and that he needed to talk to his mother right away. We also learn that, as motive for murderLewis Haines strangled Lily Sullivan because she would have threatened to “ruin his life“ by going to tell that she had been raped by Mr. Haines. Lily was reportedly upset after learning that Lewis was in a relationship.
