During this health crisis, everyone tries to help on their own scale and all ideas are good for showing a spirit of solidarity with caregivers. This is what Matthieu Parcaroli, former winner of the aufeminine literary prize, is trying to do with his 10-year-old daughter, Léana. The confinement had an impact on the children at school and the little girl witnessed it. If she had to present an exhibition of her paintings within her school establishment, the implementation of confinement engendered the cancellation of the event. A disappointment for Léana who, no doubt, was impatiently awaiting this exhibition. In order to comfort his daughter, Matthieu Parcaroli, decided to post two Léana paintings on Twitter. Thus, his works can be seen virtually.

If Léana hoped to find a small audience for her works, Twitter has worked miracles: "This message completely exceeded our expectations since it was seen by more than 1.5 million people" explains Matthieu Parcaroli. Even more surprising, the little girl even received offers to buy by message. The craze around Léana's paintings has given rise to an idea that can help those in need. Dad created a Leetchi kitty and explains: "The idea germinated to take advantage of this" small "notoriety to help hospitals and nursing homes in our region largely affected by this pandemic. The opportunity for her to do a good deed by raising funds, also minimal be they. " Living in April in Meurthe-et-Moselle, Matthieu Parcaroli says that the funds will be donated to CHR Metz-Thionville, Maillot hospital and associations that manage nursing homes.

After consultation with her teacher, Léana decided to use her talents as a painter to create a whole new canvas. The result is impressive because Léana has managed to create a warm atmosphere with "Sun on the hill", title of the work in question. This new painting is therefore the subject of a call for donations, whatever the amount. A draw will then take place among all those who have made a donation. The winner will be able to benefit from this pretty canvas.

A simple and precious gesture which shows that all contributions are important. A great initiative from Léana and her dad! Léana wished to pass on a message to internet users that we are happy to broadcast on aufeminin. To participate in the kitty and help the hospital, you can go to the donation kitty.
