In the United States, a 68-year-old woman hit the Maryland Lottery jackpot after playing the numbers dreamed up by her sister.

A dream that pays off big. In Cockeysville, Maryland (USA), a 68-year-old American woman won $25,000 (around 24,500 euros) in the lottery, in playing the numbers that appeared in a dream made by his sister.

As reported by the American site UPI, the sexagenarian had the habit, for many years, of drawing inspiration from her own dreams to choose the numbers that she would tick on her lottery tickets. But a few weeks ago, she decided to change her strategy after her sister told her about one of her dreams.

“When I saw that all my numbers were out, I couldn’t believe it”

In this dream, the winner’s sister explains having seen the sequence of numbers “23815” appear engraved on a bus in which she was traveling. The Maryland Lottery regular then decided to change habits and play this exact combination on a 50-cent ticket. A few days later, on the evening of the draw, the player discovered with amazement that she had won the jackpot.

“When I saw that all my numbers were out, I couldn’t believe it”, said the lucky winner. After pinching and rubbing her eyes, the 60-year-old finally saw that it was not a dream and that she had won the $25,000. UPI reports that with this money, the American revealed that she mostly went”pay the bills”. There is no doubt that she should still keep a small part of it to offer a beautiful gift to her sister, without whom nothing would have been possible.
