She thinks she has the flu, the doctors mention a urinary tract infection but the truth is just horrible

A 20-year-old woman residing in Australia received a terrible diagnosis when she thought she had a simple flu, on Wednesday January 25, 2023, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Olivia Jennings missed the worst. The young woman of 20, residing in Melbourne, Australia, recently had her life turned upside down. It all started in October 2022, when she started feeling flu symptoms. Symptoms include lower back pain, persistent cough or even a small bump above his left collarbone.

After several weeks of fatigue, the young woman decided to see a doctor in order to receive treatment. He decided to give him a test for a urinary tract infection, who tested positive, despite having no symptoms. The next day she decided to go to the emergency roombefore receiving a terrible diagnosis, as indicated by the DailyMail.

The young woman had advanced blood cancer

Once in the emergency room, Olivia Jennings was tested for kidney stones before the doctor comes back”looking pale“to tell him of his results. “He said I didn’t have kidney stones but I had swollen lymph nodes all over my stomach and fluid in my heart as well” she told the DailyMail explaining that she immediately thought she was going to die.

After several examinations, Olivia Jennings received his diagnosis January 25, 2023. The young woman learned that she had cancer, a Hodgkin’s lymphoma of stage 3B. A week after this diagnosis, she started her chemotherapy. After five months of treatment, the cancer has “almost gone“.
