She was stabbed to death in her home, investigators make a heartbreaking revelation soon after

This is a terrible news item that is currently shaking Northern Ireland. Natalie McNally, a young woman, was found dead at home, Monday, December 19. While police were called to her Silverwood Green residence at around 10 p.m., they could only pronounce her dead on arriving at the scene and quickly concluded that the 32-year-old had been “murdered on the night of Sunday December 18“.

On Wednesday, December 21, Police Inspector John Caldwell gave more information about the circumstances of death by Natalie McNally. He revealed that she had been stabbed several times and “some of her injuries appeared to have been inflicted as she tried to defend herself“.

Along with announcing that Natalie McNally had died a violent death, John Caldwell revealed that she was 15 weeks pregnant. “This deadly attack therefore resulted in a double tragedy: the death of a mother-to-be, as well as her unborn baby.” he said, before continuing: “What should have been a happy time as Christmas approached turned into unimaginable grief and heartache“.

After his statement, the police inspector specified that a murder investigation had been opened and called all motorists having passed through Lurgan on the night of Sunday December 18, and having a dashboard camera, to come forward. According to a PSNI detective, a 32-year-old man suspected of the murder of Natalie McNally was later arrested.
