Present since the first season of the TF1 docu-reality, she and her husband Alexandre do not only appear on television. Having become influential, she shares the life of their tribe on social networks with more than 330,000 subscribers. After a vacation in Sète this summer, she had entrusted her plan to move to the Var, to settle in the villa of her dreams. Eventually, being away from their loving nanny and grandmother put her off such a life change. She prefers to stay in Occitania for the moment, while looking for a new home for her family.

But before experiencing success, Amandine Pélissard and her husband lived through difficult times. She returns with Jordan de Luxe to her heavy past, in particular sexual abuse and drug addiction. Then she talks about the theft she committed years ago, an act that could well cost her her freedom.

A food theft that could be expensive

Pregnant with her sixth child, Amandine Pellissard was hospitalized due to her pregnancy. She finds herself in pathological arrest and has to stop working. So on a permanent contract in an industrial bakery for 10 years, Alexandre was made redundant at the same time, almost “overnight”. Without income for several weeks, the mother is up against the wall and makes a decision that catches up with her today: she steals food for her children from a store.

She will do this repeatedly, until she gets caught in the act and ends up in police custody. She explains that the amount does not exceed 200 euros and that it was only food products, including baby milk powder.

During her judgment, she does not appear because she is giving birth. Having decided to defend herself alone, she was sentenced to six months in prison, her absence playing against her. She appealed and is due to go back to trial soon. No date has been announced but it should take place this fall.

Amandine is very apprehensive, even if she hopes that her situation, her job, her status as a mother will allow her sentence to be adjusted. She says, however, that she does not look for an excuse and understands the seriousness of evading her legal obligations. Something to follow…
