Parts of Germany are currently being hit by a flood disaster. Shepherd Heinrich is also afraid for his court.

North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate are currently hit by a flood disaster. The “Bauer sucht Frau” star and pop singer Schäfer Heinrich (54) is also affected. His farm in Völlinghausen (North Rhine-Westphalia) has been suffering from the storms for days. But it’s not just the constant rain that troubles him, but also the storm. Oats and barley in the fields are crushed as the 54-year-old told the “Bild” newspaper: “I cannot harvest and thresh them because they are too wet and lie flat on the ground.”

“If this continues, my whole business will be destroyed”

His entire harvest is currently at risk. “Here 200 liters of rain have fallen, that has never happened before,” explains the star of the “Bauer sucht Frau” star. In recent years, the drought has afflicted him, now it is the rain: “If this continues, my entire business will be destroyed.” He also cares about his sheep. According to “Bild”, Schäfer Heinrich indicates the damage incurred to date at around 10,000 euros.

Shepherd Heinrich became known through the RTL dome show “Bauer sucht Frau”, in which he took part in 2008. Since then he has also made a name for himself as a pop singer. In the past few days, the heavy and continuous rain has triggered a flood disaster in parts of Germany. Dozens of people were killed, many are still missing.
