Violent? Actress sued after filming a film

Actress and wife of Shia LaBeouf, Mia Goth, was sued for allegedly deliberately kicking an extra in the head.
Did Shia LaBeouf’s (37) wife Mia Goth (30) intentionally kick an extra in the head at work? This is now claimed by a man named James Hunter, who is said to have worked with Goth in a film project. According to documents obtained by TMZ, the extra complained that the kick occurred during filming last year.
This was the filming of “MaXXXine”, the third part of a horror film series by the film production company A24, which is scheduled to be released this year. The first two parts “X” and “Pearl” were released in 2022 – also with Mia Goth in the leading role and Maxine Minx. In the lawsuit, Hunter claims he was hired to play a dead man for three days of filming.
Mia Goth is said to have mocked extras afterwards
The extra lay on the floor covered in fake blood for several hours and “had to endure ants and mosquitoes.” He told Goth to run towards him, step over him and look at him, then keep running. After she allegedly “almost stepped on him,” she was warned on the film set to be more careful. But during the next take, the actress “deliberately” kicked him in the head with her boot, the extra said.
Like, among other things “Page Six” reports, the 30-year-old approached him in the bathroom after the incident and “mocked, mocked and belittled him.” She is said to have even warned him to do something about it. When asked by the medium, Mia Goth has not yet commented on this.
Director and film production company also sued
A day after the incident, the casting agency contacted James Hunter according to Variety announced that the production no longer wanted him on the film set for the remaining two days. He then sued not only Mia Goth for bodily harm, but also director Ti West (43) and the production company A24 for unlawful termination.
In addition, despite the pain, no medical help was provided at the location, the lawsuit says. On the drive home he had a headache and “almost fainted twice,” writes Variety. Doctors later determined that he had suffered a concussion. The fake blood would also have stuck to his body so that he apparently couldn’t take off the robe that was thrown over him without pain. He is now seeking at least $500,000 in compensatory damages as well as punitive damages.
