Shin Megami Tensei V manages to cross the million units distributed

If the series of Shin Megami Tensei was still quite obscure for the West fifteen years ago, it has now made its mark in the video game landscape. Hailc Shin Megami Tensei V, Atlus signed a successful new episode, which also showed that the series did not have to be ashamed of the success of its spin-off saga, Persona. After selling 800,000 copies of its latest game in a matter of weeks, Atlus can now celebrate another even bigger milestone.

The million is finally here

The studio congratulated itself on Twitter for distributing so far over a million copies for Shin Megami Tensei V (also counting digital sales), which is an excellent result for the series, especially for an episode released exclusively on one platform. To celebrate this, the character designer Masayuki Doi published a new illustration representing the protagonist of this fifth opus.

We now wonder if the publisher does not want to inflate these figures even more with a release on other platforms. Rumors of the game being released on PC and PS4 surfaced right after the release, but several months later, nothing has materialized yet. In all cases, Shin Megami Tensei V will remain a success.
