Shirin David lands in the charts with her single “I may that” right at number one and thus sets a record.
Shirin David (26) landed at number one in the Official German Charts, determined by GfK Entertainment, with her new song “I may do that”. She is the first German solo rapper who can look forward to three number one hits. “Extasy” by 187 Strassenbande, Bonez MC & Frauenarzt, “Wellerman” by Nathan Evans (26), “Ich, am Strand” by the doctors and “Alles nach Plan” by 187 Strassenbande feat. Maxwell, Gzuz & Bonez MC land in the places behind.
Rap way up front
The rappers of 187 Strassenbande are not only represented in the singles charts. Her “Sampler 5” conquered the throne of the official German album charts. Udo Lindenberg’s (75) “Udopium – Das Beste” and “Delta Kream” from The Black Keys are in second and third place this week. Behind it is the album of a successful VOX show: On the record “Sing mein Song – Das Tauschkonzert, Vol. 8” you can hear Johannes Oerding (39) and DJ BoBo (53) among others. Last week’s winner Wincent Weiss (28) slipped into fifth place with “Maybe Sometime”.
