Google presented the Pixel Watch and advertised the strong integration of Fitbit. However, fans of the fitness tracker now have a stronger bond with the parent company.
Because soon, Google will gradually replace the Fitbit account and the Fitbit brand will become “Fitbit by Google”. As early as next year, a Google account will be mandatory for registration. The two services will then finally merge in 2025. All performance and data that you have previously recorded with Fitbit will then flow into your Google account.
Body data is not used for advertising purposes
