An accident occurred at the start of Rammstein’s European tour. Singer Till Lindemann suddenly fell off the stage after the end of the concert.

On Monday (May 22nd) the band Rammstein opened this year’s European tour in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius. At the end of the show there was an accident, which, however, seems to have ended lightly. With his bandmates, Rammstein singer Till Lindemann (60) enjoyed the applause of the audience. The frontman then turned around and wanted to leave the stage. Lindemann seemed to fall. The other band members looked after him in horror.

No statement from the band

As the magazine “Metal Hammer” reports, there is said to have been a staircase directly behind the stage, which Lindemann apparently fell down. Various videos of the incident were shared on Facebook. Afterwards, however, the singer and his bandmates climbed into an elevator, which transported the group to the top of the stage for the final departure. Lindemann seemed unharmed and waved to the crowd.

Neither the band Rammstein nor singer Lindemann have commented on the accident on official channels. The next concert of Rammstein’s European tour is scheduled for May 27 in the Finnish capital Helsinki – and does not currently appear to be threatened by the incident.

Rammstein will also continue their tour in Germany from June 8th. Concerts in Munich are planned for June 8th, 10th, 11th and 14th. About a month later the band also plays three concerts in Berlin – on July 15th, 16th and 18th.
