It’s hard to beat the tragedy: three boys were traveling on the S2 in Vienna in the early hours of Sunday morning – at excessive speed. Then the 18-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a concrete barrier. The car immediately burst into flames. The driver and his passenger (17) were killed – another passenger (16) was taken to the hospital. The accident car belonged to the father. According to information from the “Krone”, the accident victims are boys from the Weinviertel. The friends are said to have all lived just a few meters away from each other. The oldest – he was also the driver – is said to have only celebrated his 18th birthday in November. According to police spokesman Markus Dittrich, the car involved in the accident was an Audi S7 Sportback. According to “Krone” information, the car is said to have belonged to the 18-year-old’s father. The youngest accident victim was in acute danger of death on Sunday. The police were unable to disclose anything about the current state of health on Monday.
