What became apparent in the summer of last year does not seem to go out of style in spring 2021 either. On the contrary: shoes with an angular shape, so-called square-toe models, are the absolute bestseller. While they were mostly worn with heels last season, flat designs are now finding their way into the shoe cupboards of many fashionistas.
With their angular shape, square-toe ballerinas may not conjure up the most beautiful or even the slimmest foot, but they are definitely eye-catching. The most popular models are those that not only have a square front but also a clasp on the instep. This gives the trend shoe of spring a little more finesse and also ensures a good grip on the foot.
