Kim Jong Un orders more intensive maneuvers for “real war”.

On Monday, the United States and South Korea will start joint military maneuvers for the first time in five years. North Korea, which has been conducting missile tests for months, feels provoked as usual. Dictator Kim Jong Un instructs his soldiers to practice more intensively for a “real war”.

Amid rising tensions on the Korean Peninsula, North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un has ordered military maneuvers for a “proper war.” Kim and his daughter supervised a maneuver, the state news agency KCNA reported. Photos published at the same time show several rockets being fired during a maneuver.

Kim told the soldiers involved in the exercise to carry out “various simulation exercises for a real war” and keep intensifying them, KCNA further reported. The conflict on the Korean peninsula has become more virulent again in recent weeks. North Korea recently accused the United States of “deliberately” heating up tensions in the region through joint military maneuvers with South Korea.

Seoul and Washington want to start a ten-day joint military maneuver on Monday – it is the largest joint exercise in five years. Exercises in the field should therefore also be integrated into the staff frame exercise, which is based on computer simulations. The United States has deployed 28,500 troops in South Korea to deter North Korea.

North Korea carried out three missile tests within a few days in February, including an ICBM. In November, Kim announced his intention to make his country the “most powerful nuclear power in the world”. South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol announced a tougher stance on Pyongyang when he took office in May last year.
