Should you rinse your micellar water? : Current Woman The MAG

Micellar waters have the particularity of containing micelles in their formulas. These surfactants, or "cleaning agents", make it possible to cleanse the skin but also to remove make-up quite effectively and quickly.

Like any cleansing agent, it is important that the micelles do not stay too long on the surface of the skin at the risk of irritate and weaken it. It's a bit like not rinsing out your shampoo or hand soap! It is therefore recommended to rinse your micellar water, even if it is marked "without rinsing", especially if you have dry, sensitive or fragile skin.

The right gesture: apply your micellar water with a cotton pad then rinse the face with very cold water. You can also spray a few drops of thermal water or floral water on a cotton ball to remove product residue from the surface of your skin.
