Georgina Fleur confesses that she was “so blind with love”

Shortly before the finale, the campers no longer held back their claims to victory and their animosities. One confession around the campfire was particularly moving.
The legends season of the jungle camp is entering the home stretch. “Everyone against everyone” – that is now the openly formulated motto of the competition on “I’m a Celebrity – Showdown of the Jungle Legends” (latest episode first via RTL+, the following day on linear television on RTL). At the same time, episode 15 was not only about loud tones. Georgina Fleur’s (34) moving confession of her relationship left no one unmoved.
“Oh no, numbers and letters!”
Gigi Birofio (25) was the one who mourned Elena Miras’ (32) departure the most. He repeatedly stressed that he would miss her “very, very, very much”. The otherwise emphatically masculine jungle hero even shed a small tear. However, Gigi didn’t have much more time to mourn. He and Sarah Knappik (37) went on a treasure hunt together. The task, a kind of battleship game, immediately left him in shock: “Oh no, numbers and letters! I’m not that good at that.”
Consequently, Sarah took over the helm of the Battleship tableau, while Gigi diligently dove through the stinking mud pool and dove for tennis balls. At the end, Gigi’s skin was covered in a full-body mud pack. Sarah, on the other hand, was afraid of every splash. The “Germany’s next Top Model” participant from 2008 was afraid of getting her hair dirty and showed all sorts of airs and graces. The keys that both of them won were unable to open the treasure chest. Gigi’s flawless conclusion was: “I’ve become a pig for nothing!” The zero round was to provoke all sorts of intense emotions.

Meanwhile, the camp was about a dramatic relationship that ended with soul-crushing wounds and which Georgina Kader Loth (51), Danni Büchner (46) and Mola Adebisi (51) reported on around the campfire – from the beginning to today. She and her ex Kubilay Özdemir met through Georgina’s sister in a fitness studio. Three bottles of champagne later, a holiday to Sardinia was planned together. According to Fleur, the first cracks appeared on Christmas Eve. Later, “Kubi” was determined to take part in the “Summer House of the Stars” to show the whole world that they were together, according to Fleur. However, there were unpleasant arguments in the “Summer House”. Fleur’s explanation for accepting all of this: “I was so blind with love. […] I was addicted to him.” Their daughter was born in 2021.
The fact that her ex had become violent towards Georgina was the signal for her to leave: “Through my daughter, I found the strength to leave him and eliminate him from my life.” Her baby had “given her a brain,” said Mola Adebisi. The other campers were also relieved by Georgina’s change of heart. Danni Büchner, who had experienced violence in a relationship herself, said: “It’s just hell.” And Mola speculated: “So much must have been broken for her. […] That may explain her sometimes harsh behavior. I think it’s caused by insecurity and fear of being hurt.”
Sarah withdraws before group exam
After Sarah and Gigi returned from the treasure hunt, an open exchange of blows between all the remaining competitors for victory ensued. Because, as Mola happily noted: “All the favorites are out” – and he was thinking of the highly rated Thorsten Legat (55), Eric Stehfest (35) and Giulia Siegel (49). Gigi openly accused Sarah of acting like a star during the test. Boo-woman Sarah fired back hard – and left no one out. “Everyone against everyone” would be the motto from now on, said Gigi. And he immediately formulated his claim to victory: “One thing has become clear to me: I will win this jungle. I cannot allow Miss Cosmetics Girl to win this show.” But everyone else is also eyeing the victory, which is now within reach.
Before the legendary group test “Creek of the Stars”, Gigi let his adrenaline do the talking again. “It’s nice that I got to know you. But now I’m going to finish you all off,” said the reality pro before the spectacular test. Teamwork was what counted, especially now. In a jungle version of a huge car wash, the campers had to complete a steep course, collecting and securing stars while being shot at by water cannons and wind machines. Shortly before the test, Sarah withdrew, citing back problems.
After a lot of dirty laundry had been washed, the remaining campers proved to be a real unit in the test and got five stars. Sarah, who was already expecting to be kicked out, was also allowed to return to camp. So no one had to leave this time. Episode 15, however, left the legends with a lot of broken china. They will surely attack each other again in the semi-finals, as vicious as camp mosquitoes…
