Shrinking (Apple TV +): the series with Harrison Ford and Jason Segel is revealed through a trailer

With 155 films and series in its catalog, the Apple TV+ streaming platform is perhaps one of the least well endowed on the market in terms of quantity. But the service of the giant Apple is catching up by focusing on the quality of its productions.

At the house of Digital, Shrinking is one of our big expectations series of the year, and for good reason: it’s the new creation of Bill Lawrence, the man behind Scrubs and Ted Lasso, and Brett Goldstein, screenwriter and interpreter of Roy Kent in the latter. A talented duo that promises a bittersweet comedic series about grief, life and everything in between.

Shrinking tells the story of a grieving psychologist who begins to break the rules of therapy and tell his patients everything he really thinks. Overriding his training and ethics, he sees huge and tumultuous changes happening in everyone’s lives… including his own.

In addition to Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein, the series also has Jason Segel writing. The actor seen in the movies Without Sarah, nothing goes and The Muppets, the return plays the main role of Shrinking and here gives the answer to the legend Harrison Ford, far too rare in the comic register. Consisting of 10 episodes, the series will be broadcast weekly on Apple TV+ from Friday, January 27.

The Apple TV+ service, launched in France in November 2019, is not positioned as a direct rival to Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video. Apple’s streaming platform chooses big names and quality programs.
