On the occasion of their presence this Monday April 4 at the Canneseries festival, Lucie Lucas and Shy’m announced that they were going to play together in a new detective series entitled “Cannes Confidential”.
The singer and actress from Clem will be accompanied by British actor Jamie Bamber, known in particular for his role in “Battlestar Galactica”.
“Cannes Confidential” will be inspired by “Amicalement Vôtre” and the film “La main au collet”, according to information from Télé-Loisirs. The filming of this new series, co-produced by the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden and France, will begin on April 17.
Throughout the six episodes, Lucie Lucas will play a police lieutenant from the Cannes region and Shy’m will be Léa, a police officer from her team.
“We are going to shoot in English, so for me it’s a lot more preparation, explains Shy’m in the columns of the newspaper Le Parisien. I am far from being bilingual, I work with a coach. With Lucie, we have been following physical training in self-defense and combat for a week. All that is new, it’s great to get to know her in this setting.
Regarding the story, “Camille and Léa cannot get rid of Harry because he helps them in certain investigations. He finds himself there a bit like a parasite. Léa probes him enormously, she has enormous mistrust and she doesn’t like this character. He is too relaxed, a little offhand and terribly charming, ”said the singer to Télé-Loisirs.

The actor also made some secrets about his character, Harry. “We don’t know anything about his history or why he is there. He is trying to escape something from his complicated past. Harry mixes very easily with all circles of Cannes society and finds himself in this city as at home, even if he is a foreigner, ”he confided.
