Every day since 2017, Sidonie Bonnec hosts Everyone has a saythe general knowledge game from France 2, alongside Olivier Minne. In seven seasons, the entertainment show based around the French language has found its audience. On the occasion of the 1,500th issue broadcast on November 17, 2023, its host granted us an interview (available in full here), during which the mechanics of the program were discussed, but also her life as a couple with her husband, producer Jérôme Korkikian, father of their two children Bonnie-Rose (2014) and Timothée (2018). The 46-year-old journalist took the opportunity to look back on her career, notably its beginnings almost 20 years ago, marked by an unpleasant event, when the MeToo movement had not yet exploded in the world of media.

“Without mentioning any names, during one of my first experiences as a TV presenter, a columnist cornered me very hard in a corridor late one evening. He was waiting for me to kiss him”revealed Sidonie Bonnec in this interview with Current wife, on November 17, 2023. After this unfortunate incident, the Breton footballer’s daughter made an immediate (and beneficial) decision. “I said no and the next morning I went to management and he was laid off. And from then on he behaved very well! I had just arrived and he was very surprised that I denounced him”, she told us. The two journalists met in June 2010, on Jean-Marc Morandini’s set. After the show, Jean-Jacques Bourdin asked his colleague to produce the press review for his morning show. In order for her to expand her address book, the political interviewer allegedly invited her to spend the weekend with him and other colleagues, in a festival in Calvi in Corsica. But at the last moment, the former glory of RMC would have warned her that the hotel was full, taking the opportunity to make her a proposition which stunned her. “He said to me: ‘You’re lucky, we have a villa with a friend, we invite you. There’s a swimming pool, don’t forget your swimsuit’. This sentence took my breath away. Suddenly it wasn’t professional at all.” declared Sidonie Bonnec to Mediapartduring an investigation devoted to “the dark side of the RMC star”, specifying that he did not ultimately get the job in question.
