Siegfried Fischbacher's siblings have said goodbye to the star magician. The funeral service took place in his hometown.

Siegfried Fischbacher's (1939-2021) family has said goodbye, far from his adopted home and place of death Las Vegas. In Rosenheim, Fischbacher's birthplace in Bavaria, a funeral service for the magician of the former duo Siegfried & Roy took place on Friday (January 22nd). His sister Dolore (79) and his brother Marinus (85) came to the service in St. Nikolaus Church, where Fischbacher was both baptized and confirmed.

Reunited with Roy Horn

White flowers and a photo of the magician reminded of him, reports the Bavarian radio. Andreas März (47), the Lord Mayor of Rosenheim, had given a speech in which he stated that Fischbacher had left with the firm conviction that he would see his deceased partner Roy Horn (1944-2020) again after his death.

Siegfried Fischbacher died of cancer on January 13, 2021 at the age of 81. Roy Horn had died around eight months earlier, on May 8, 2020, as a result of complications related to a coronavirus infection. He was 75 years old.
