Sifu is available on Nintendo Switch and offers a short trailer

After Absolveran intriguing title with somewhat random critical feedback, the little guys from Sloclap worked on a certain Sifu, in turn emphasizing melee combat. This second project was much less difficult to convince than its big brother, which it owes to its rather interesting concept. But what do you do when a game is going well? We wear it on Nintendo Switch of course!

Another success on the hybrid console

Games that feature hand-to-hand combat in a fluid but realistic way are not commonplace. And in general, you rarely see creators leaning on a martial arts experience that is not a pure and hard fighting game. However, some titles try to explore the possibilities offered by the media at this level. Eighteen years ago, this was the case with Rise to Honor on PlayStation 2. And lately, a certain Sifu everyone agreed.

Our test is also not stingy with compliments. I have to say that Sifu hits hard, and arms itself with a rather interesting concept revolving around the age of our protagonist, which increases with each death. A way to force the player to restart the levels in which he died too many times.

Not content to be released on PlayStation consoles and PC, Sifu is now coming to Nintendo Switch, that was to be expected. This version is available now, which this little trailer reminds us of, focusing on a few highlights of the adventure. Difficult to know what this edition is worth at the moment, and we are a little afraid that the Joy-Con keys are not adapted to this type of game, as is the case for the exceptional Mortal Kombat 11 for example. But we will not decide for the moment.

Sifu is available on the Switch eShop today, where it is displayed at €39.99. It is also entitled to a physical edition, available from various retailers.
