On the game side, four new cheat codes and three new modifiers have been added to change the rules and sometimes make things easier. For example, you can activate a “Vampire” code which makes it possible to rejuvenate (and therefore to move away from game over) by eliminating enemies or a “Deadly Touch” code that sees every opponent downed with a single well-placed hit. Another option makes enemies susceptible to knockback under all circumstances.
“Plus, we’ve added some long-awaited quality of life changes, like the option to transfer your unlocked skills from a previous save to a new one, as well as the ability to set your own camera distance during takedowns.“, adds Sloclap, which concludes this update with the addition of three new outfits.
The updates of Sifu will continue into 2023 with the notable addition of a new Arenas game mode in Q1 (along with additional modifiers and outfits). Still confidential surprises are also expected in the second quarter, but we already know that this fifth update will notably include new arenas.
