Sifu: Sloclap’s roadmap confirms the choice of difficulty

And we start with the confirmation that many were waiting for: different difficulty modes will indeed appear and this as part of a spring update which should therefore be released in the coming weeks. Instead of the current single difficulty, it looks like players will be able to set the game to “Student”, “Disciple”, and “Master”. This spring update also includes a more in-depth training mode as well as the ability to change outfits, as Sloclap plans to add more each season.

The summer update talks about a more advanced scoring system and gameplay modifiers. We’re already given at least seven (no pendant, single health, no protection, stronger enemies, golden staff, all abilities unlocked, and bullet time) but more will be added this fall and winter.

The main novelty of the fall update will take the form of a slow-motion editor for the most cinephiles, while a new game mode (Arenas) will bring the final touch in the winter update.
