SII: 18.1% increase in CEO net profit in the first half

(CercleFinance.com) – SII publishes a turnover of 538 ME for the 1st quarter of the 23/24 financial year, a figure up 12.8% compared to the same period a year earlier and in line to the announced objectives.

‘In a difficult context marked by a calendar offering 3 fewer working days, a slowing economic situation and a delicate geopolitical context, this performance is worth highlighting,’ notes the company.

At the same time, operating income from activity increased by 9.9% to reach 49.8 ME, while the group’s share of net income stood at 41 ME (+18.1%).

SII specifies that given the evolution of the geopolitical and economic climate on a global scale, projection over a time horizon beyond the quarter is difficult.

The SII group confirms that it expects to achieve growth of between 7 and 10% for the third quarter of this 2023/2024 financial year.
