SII: annual turnover should exceed 1 billion euros – 02/07/2023 at 18:11

(AOF) – The turnover of the third quarter, ended at the end of December, of the 2022/2023 financial year, of SII amounted to 259.3 million euros, an increase of 21.9%. Organic growth amounted to 23.3%. “With the exception of Spain, all geographical entities contributed to this growth, fueled by a still high activity rate and continuous commercial development,” commented the specialist in the engineering professions.

In France, the SII group generated revenue of 109.6 million euros during the third quarter and thus posted organic growth (+13%) of the same magnitude as in the first half. The Excluded Leave Activity Rate (TACE) “remained at a satisfactory level during this quarter”.

Internationally, the SII group recorded quarterly revenue of 149.7 million euros, up 29.4% at constant exchange rates. With the exception of Spain, which experienced a drop in activity this quarter (-7%), all countries continued to grow organically, most of them at a high rate.

Despite a geopolitical and macroeconomic climate that remains uncertain, and subject to an evolution without major change, the turnover achieved over the first nine months and the current commercial opportunities should allow SII to reach an annual turnover over one billion euros for the whole of the 2022/2023 financial year with an operating margin still between 9 and 10%.

Growth hampered by recruitment

According to a study for Numeum, the digital professional organization, 79% of companies in the sector consider that their growth is hampered by the shortage of talent in the face of demand driven by digital transformation. Digital services companies forecast 5% growth for 2022. Several levers are activated by companies to attract talent, in particular remuneration, while average salaries have generally increased in the IT sector. New work organisations, career development prospects and meaningful assignments are other assets. Capgemini has therefore adopted a new agreement offering up to 70% telework to all employees. These adaptations are essential as a report from the Department of Research, Studies and Statistics (Dares) and France Strategy establishes that IT professions will be among those who will recruit the most by 2030. .
