In 2024, players PlayStation 5 should be spoiled with several remakes of titles that marked their genre and their era.
In a few weeks, PS5 players will be able to lay their hands on the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This sequence of Final Fantasy VII Remakereleased in 2020, is in fact expected for February 29 on Sony’s latest console.
On the other hand, according to the latest trailer published by Sony, the adventures of Cloud and his friends should not be the only ones to benefit from a makeover in this year 2024.
The remake of MGS3 would arrive in 2024 on PS5
On May 24, during a PlayStation Showcase, Konami pleased fans of the saga MGS unveiled with great fanfare the first teaser for a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. An emblematic episode of the franchise imagined by Hideo Kojima, the title will make its comeback on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
If, until now, we did not yet know the release window of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake EaterPlayStation may well have spilled the beans.
To mark the new year, the official PlayStation YouTube channel has just shared a video compiling the most anticipated titles in 2024 on PS5. If we obviously find Tekken 8 or The Last of Us Part II: Remasteredwhich are expected for this month of January, we can also note the presence of the remake of MGS3.
This is excellent news for those who feared having to wait a long time before finding Big Boss in a jungle brought up to date. You will obviously have to arm yourself with a little more patience before knowing the day and month of release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
Silent Hill 2 : a release again confirmed for 2024
After being the subject of rumors for many years, the remake of Silent Hill 2 will soon be a reality. In development within the Polish teams of Bloober Team (Layers of Fear, The Medium….), the title should also see the light of day in 2024.
Although this information had in fact already been communicated by the French distributor Just for Games, the trailer freshly published by PlayStation indeed confirms a release date for this year.
As a reminder, the remakes of Silent Hill 2 And Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will both run on the Unreal Engine 5. There is therefore no doubt that these iconic games will succeed in wowing us on PS5 and PC, around twenty years after their initial release on PS2 .
