Rumors escalate about the franchise’s return silent Hilland according to several hallway noises, Konami would have asked Bloober Team to develop a remake of Silent Hill 2 for playstation and pc. The Polish studio is already known for the Layers of Fear, Blair Witch and The Medium.
For the moment, there is nothing official, except for a partnership between Konami and Bloober Team for an as yet unknown game. But this weekend images presented as the first captures of Silent Hill 2 Remake appeared on the Web. The quality is dire, but we can guess James Sunderland with a camera behind him, like the remake of Resident Evil 2 which undoubtedly served as a model for this game. The hero evolves in environments that are difficult to recognize and even faces a nurse in the hospital.
So, are these really the first images of Silent Hill 2 Remake ? It must be said that many fans try to recreate sequences from the survival horror With l’UnrealEnginebut for once… well, this would really be screenshots of a title created by Bloober Team. But as explained Dusk Golemwell informed about the franchise, it would not be images of the game in development, but ofa demo version designed quickly and without budget as a proof of concept to present the project to Konami. The Japanese studio had requested pitches in the summer of 2018, and would then have validated the project, these images probably date from that time.
Clearly, nothing visible here confirms anything about the final game, but at least, Silent Hill 2 Remake seems to exist in Bloober Team. Moreover, the formalization of the game could occur very soon.
