Despite increasingly persistent rumors about new games silent Hill, no real leak has been identified so far. But for the past few hours, screens have been making the rounds on social networks and igniting the community, which is waiting to see if all this is true or not. And since everything begins to disappear little by little, with warnings for copyright, doubt begins to settle.
Finally some real pictures?
This is the well-known leaker Dusk Golem who started it all, and who shared multiple pictures (which you can find on Reddit) that would come from an upcoming game silent Hill still unannounced. These images, however, were quickly removed by Twitter, claiming that it did not respect copyright, which may mean that Konami hastened to contact the social network. Dusk Golem’s account was even briefly made inaccessible for a time, for the same reasons.
These images then show us intriguing elements, establishing an atmosphere close to what one would expect from a silent Hillwith hallways filled with the strangest papers. Dusk Golem then states that these images would date from 2020.
It also indicates the mention of ” SMS & Messages ”, which refer to a peculiarity of gameplay already indicated by an old rumor, issued by Alanah Pearce (who now works at Santa Monica Studio), who claimed that the game would send players emails or text messages even when they’re not playing, with hints about in-game elements and characters.
Dusk Golem ends by stating that this is not the only game silent Hill in development, as we can already imagine. Obviously, all this information should be taken with a grain of saltsince it is impossible to verify the authenticity of these images.
