“Silhouette”, a new French fashion magazine, hits newsstands

Thomas Aïdan, the creator of the cinema magazine “Septième Obsession”, launches a new fashion magazine called “Silhouette” on Tuesday. Launched both in France and around the world, the 300-page publication aims to celebrate new designers while paying homage to the crafts that make luxury.

It’s a little new one that arrives on newsstands in France on Tuesday, but also around the world: Silhouette. The origin of this new women’s fashion magazine, which will be published quarterly, is Thomas Aïdan. The Chairman and CEO of Aedon Group is also the creator of the film magazine Seventh Obsession. With Silhouettethe man of the press wishes to celebrate the new scene of contemporary fashion, to pay homage to artistic crafts and know-how, and to convey another idea of ​​luxury.

Luxury, calm and contemporary debates

Specifically, the magazine Silhouette has 12 sections dealing in particular with fashion, beauty, watchmaking, jewelery and fragrance. This first issue, which extends over no less than 300 pages, also addresses contemporary debates, such as the place of the bra in society. The magazine also asked journalists and writers if the clothes had a gender.

The quarterly Silhouette is broadcast from Tuesday in France and internationally at a price of €6.90. Its first issue was printed in 120,000 copies. The emission of Europe 1 Culture Media receives its creator Thomas Aïdan on Wednesday.
