Simone Ballack is taken again, but in a new interview she still reminisces about the memories that she still keeps from her time after her divorce from Michael Ballack – including one or two souvenirs.
Simone Ballack: After divorcing Michael, she treated herself to tattoos and a cat
Around eleven years ago, Michael and Simone Ballack decided to go their separate ways. What many people assume as a reason for a new phase of life was for Simone the reason to change her appearance, as she reveals to RTL. Because: After falling out of love with Michael, she was finally able to afford what had been denied to her during their relationship!
“My ex-husband actually always hated tattoos,” the now 47-year-old remembers, “and when I got divorced, I got tattoos and bought my cat. So everything he didn’t like,” sums up you happy today. We’re talking about the two angel wings that Ballack had pierced under his skin: one on each wrist.

“Just because I could”
She always wanted a tattoo, Simone continues. Out of consideration for Michael’s wishes, she put her own aside for a long time. After four years of marriage, “I thought, ‘Come on, now or never.’ But I still like them. I think they’re great!” Ballack is quoted as saying. But the decisions about her tattoos and her four-legged roommate were not ones she made primarily against Michael personally. “It really wasn’t against him,” asserts Ballack, “but simply because I could.”
By the way: In addition to the little angel flights, Simone Ballack also had the names of her three sons tattooed on her arm. But she also makes it clear that new tattoos are over for now: “You have to be a little careful not to get into such a frenzy.”
Wedding with Heiko Grote?
When asked about the topic of weddings, Simone Ballack is in a chatty mood. When asked whether she could imagine saying yes again, she answered in an interview with “Bunte”: “Why not? Others marry several times. I don’t think you can only get married once in your life.” The suitable location would certainly be found quickly: after all, Ballack’s friend Heiko Grote is the CEO of a large hotel chain.
