The smallest, those whose turnover is less than 2 million euros and which employ ten employees at most – there are 1.5 million in total –, “will continue to benefit from access to regulated tariffs”, he confirmed. As for the larger and so-called “energy-intensive” companies (the most energy-consuming), they can also claim aid according to certain criteria. These companies must submit energy bills representing at least 3% of their turnover. Or a higher gas and electricity bill compared to 2021 and profits that have fallen in the previous month.
