The GAK has extended the contract with coach Gernot Plassnegger, which expires at the end of the season. As the Grazer announced on Thursday, the 43-year-old ex-professional signed a new contract until summer 2023. Since March of the previous year, Plassnegger has been head coach of the current second division team for the second time in his coaching career.
The GAK is currently in sixth place in the table in the 2nd league. The dreams of promotion are probably over for the traditional club after the 0: 3 at Austria Klagenfurt last Sunday. There are still six rounds to play in the championship.
