“The Transport Safety Investigation Bureau (TSIB) is in contact with its Thai counterpart and will dispatch investigators to Bangkok,” Singapore’s Transport Ministry said in a statement.
“We can confirm that there are injuries and one fatality on board the Boeing 777-300ER,” the airline said on Facebook. Boeing also sent its condolences to the passenger’s family on Tuesday. From its X account (formerly Twitter), Boeing also sent a message of support to the other passengers and the crew, in total 228 people.
