The aufeminin editorial staff met singer Hoshi during an interview “One artist, one song.” The female artist took on a difficult challenge: choosing a single song by an artist among those offered to her. The proposals were multiple, from Benjamin Biolay to Julien Doré, including Janis Joplin or again Eddy de Pretto and Les Rita Mitsouko. Each song chosen for these singers was an opportunity for Hoshi to share touching stories. Moreover, she revealed that her real first name, Mathilde, was inspired by her parents thanks to the famous song by Jacques Brel.

Sentimental hoshi
The artist also mentioned the first single from the reissue of his album “Sleep rising.” The song clip “And even afterwards I will love you”, released on March 18, 2021, reveals the singer in a tender intimacy. In a room with pink tinted colors, she sings a sublime declaration of love and declares “I love you, how we do, I love you, more than you love me, I love you, how to coat the sky with the color of our veins.” This song is particularly close to his heart: “I never said ‘I love you’ in music”, she told aufeminin.
