Ouch! Timothy Laurence has a black eye

At a charity event in Westminster Abbey, Vice-Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence stands out with his striking black eye. As he smiles for the cameras and dutifully attends the 200th anniversary event of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, a sea rescue organization from England, many wonder where this injury could have come from. The answer: an accident in the garden. As the Daily Mail reports, a fence is said to have been involved. However, no further information is known about this.

As vice-president of the RNLI, he showed bravery despite the injury. He was accompanied by the charity’s president, the Duke of Kent, 88th Archbishop of Canterbury. Justin Welby, 68, emphasized at the event how wonderful the organization is working. Since its founding, more than 144,000 people have been saved and the members are “role models for everyone.” Perhaps that is precisely why Princess Anne’s husband did not miss such an important appointment.

Princess Yuriko of Japan was hospitalized

Big concern for Princess Yuriko, 100! Japan’s imperial family is currently keeping watch at her sickbed. The aunt of the Emeritus Emperor Akihito, 90, is in intensive care at St. Luke’s International Hospital in Tokyo. She is suspected of having a stroke and pneumonia, reports the Imperial Household Agency. This is reported by leading Japanese media such as the “Japan Times”.

It goes on to say that she was admitted to hospital on Sunday, March 3rd with serious symptoms and was immediately transferred to the intensive care unit. Yuriko is said to have had difficulty moving her right hand and leg. Nevertheless, the Imperial Household Agency assured that the oldest member of Japan’s imperial family was in stable condition.

King Harald: Spotted! His family visits him in the hospital

Just yesterday, King Harald, 86, arrived at an Oslo hospital after undergoing surgery at a hospital there while on vacation in Malaysia. Just a few hours later, the first photo material was available that proves: The Norwegian monarch does not have to endure the time under medical observation alone. In addition to trained specialist staff, Harald’s family also rushes to his side. Several photos from March 4th show Princess Ingrid Alexandra, 20, and Princess Mette-Marit, 50, in the car.

The mother-daughter duo were photographed near the Rikshospitalet, where the monarch is currently receiving treatment. The Crown Princess herself was behind the wheel of the car. And while Mette-Marit herself had a rather serious expression, her daughter even cracked a small smile. Ingrid Alexandra looked out of the car window – but where is not clear from the photos. A visit by the 20-year-old to Oslo had not been announced in advance; Ingrid Alexandra is currently completing her military service in northern Norway.

Princess Anne: Heartless? She was traveling for husband Timothy Laurence’s birthday

The deep loyalty to the crown probably goes beyond the family. Princess Anne, 73, and Timothy Laurence, 69, tied the knot in 1992 and the commander is often seen at Princess Royal’s side. But he obviously celebrated his own birthday on March 1st without his wife – a business trip was fatal for both of them.

The mother of Peter Phillips, 46, and Zara Tindall, 42, simply had to work. The official website of the association “The Mission to Seafarers” posted via Instagram that King Charles’ sister, 75, had traveled to Dubai. Among other things, Anne visited the port of Jebel Ali and gave a speech for the charity, which she has chaired since 1984.

While the daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth, †96, was “Princess Hardworking”, husband Timothy had to celebrate his 69th birthday without her. Anne flew from London Heathrow to the United Arab Emirates on Thursday, February 29th – if she had left just a day later, Timothy could have given her a kiss on her special day.
