Sitting in prison – arrest after a series of burglaries in allotment gardens

The police in the Innsbruck area have now apparently managed to catch a serial burglar. Numerous crimes in allotment gardens in and around the state capital are said to be attributable to the locals. He is now in prison.

Extensive investigations by several police departments led the officials to the 33-year-old. He is said to have committed numerous burglaries in allotment gardens and garden sheds in Innsbruck as well as in Ampass and Hall in Tirol since May 22 at the latest and also made hefty loot. Among other things, electrical items and tools were stolen. The suspect was arrested and is now in Innsbruck Prison.
