Six Nations: start against Italy, closing against Wales … the complete calendar of the Blues in 2023

The XV of France discovered this Wednesday the program of its calendar for the Six Nations Tournament in 2023.

This Wednesday, the full schedule for the 2023 Six Nations Tournament was unveiled. Holder of the title and author of the Grand Slam this year, the XV of France will have a lot to do to repeat such a performance. Indeed, like every odd year, the Blues will have to travel three times (Italy, Ireland, England) for only two home matches (Scotland, Wales).

Fabien Galthié’s men will begin the defense of their title with two away matches, in Rome on Sunday February 5 (4 p.m.) and in Dublin on Saturday February 11 (3.15 p.m.). They will then receive Scotland in Saint-Denis on Sunday February 26 (4 p.m.), before going to Twickenham for the shock against the English on Saturday March 11 (5.45 p.m.). Finally, the French will host Wales on Saturday March 18 (3:45 p.m.).

The Blues have finally conquered the Grand Slam, the first since 2010 and the tenth in its history for the France team, beating England (25-13) on March 19 at the Stade de France. “Once again, our supporters had to wait until the last match to find out the winner of the Tournament (…) The combination of incredible media coverage and the expected return of fans to the stadiums made this Six Nations Tournament truly special“, welcomed the boss of the competition, Ben Morel, quoted in a press release from the organizing body.
