The Blues had no chance of lifting the trophy after Ireland’s victory against Scotland.
The French XV finished the 2024 Six Nations Tournament in second place, behind Ireland, after their victory over England (33-31) on Saturday in Lyon.
After their initial heavy setback against Ireland (38-17), the Blues followed up with a victory in Scotland (20-16), a draw against Italy (13-13) and a success in Wales ( 45-24).
