Skull and Bones PC Closed Beta content, rewards and system requirements detailed

Here is one who had been well forgotten on the side ofUbisoft. A time scheduled for release on November 8, 2022, Skull and Bones was then pushed back to March 9, 2023, before no longer having a specific date. During the last Ubisoft Forward in June, it was a video with an air of sea shanty that vaguely gave us news of him. We then learned thata closed beta would take place from August 25 to 28 on consoles and PC, except the mention of PS5 and Xbox Series X | S was quickly removed. This trial phase is being talked about again now, with the confirmation that only computer players will be able to take advantage of it…

Besides the few phases of gameplay the short video serving as a trailer for this closed beta, THE official site of the game teaches us everything we need to know in order to set sail in good conditions, at least for the lucky ones selected. It will therefore take place from Friday August 25 at 4:00 a.m. until Monday August 28 at 9:00 a.m., with preload available on August 22 at 12:00 p.m. Alone Ubisoft Connect will be used to access it and English will be the only language. If you have been selected, you will also be able to invite up to two friends to participate, which will obviously have to have a configuration allowing them to run the beta. And you’ll need good gear for that, as evidenced by the publisher’s recommendations:

In terms of playable content, the closed beta will transport players to the lair of Saint Anne on thered islanddirected by John Scurlock. It will be possible to interact with other players, create a ship, weapons and equipment through local artisans, and access a warehouse to store loot, sell goods and repair our boat. All the associated part of the world and the African coast will be accessible, where different factions will anchor, being able to be peaceful as well as becoming enemies. It will also be necessary to take care of the crew under penalty of mutiny while seeking to exploit the slightest opportunity to become rich and raise the level ofInfamy (Buccaneer at most for the beta). Once this level is reached, a notification in-game will reward freshwater sailors with a new ship and powerful gear. Contracts from the main quest will also be available (up to Exterminate the Rat), serving as a guide to building a reputation.

Below is a list of available rewards.

  • Spoken For Emote
    • Obtaining: crafting and sailing on the Bedar.

  • Pioneer set (Vanity ship set) including Pioneer Sails (color), Traveler Colors (color), Pioneer Patterns (sail pattern), Pioneer Emblem (ship emblem) and The Pioneer (ship title) ).
    • How to Obtain: Complete a World Event (The DMC Dispatch will be available).

  • Welcome fireworks
    • Reach the rank of Buccaneer Infamy (level 6).

Finally, know that there will be no nesso it will be possible to stream your parties, which obviously encourages Ubisoft since it will make the game free. Skull and Bones is still available for pre-order on Amazon, although we don’t know when it will be released.
