Skull & Bones: Ubisoft’s game loses one of its directors

For years, on the rare occasions we hear of Skull & Bones, it’s never for good news. A few months ago, a new survey revealed the extent of the chaos surrounding the project led by Ubisoft Singapore, with multiple reboots to boot. Obviously, the latest version of the game seemed to be the right one, and if we hope that the game is heading towards its release, we learn that it loses one of its leading figures.

A sailor hoists the sails

VGC noticed on LinkedIn that Antoine Henry, who had been working on the project for several years as game director partner, had announced his departure from the Ubisoft group:

Goodbye Ubisoft! After almost 15 years, today was my last day. I am grateful to the people I have met and what they have given me professionally and personally. I hope I was able to add a little on my side as well.

We don’t really know what impact this departure has on the development of the game, but losing someone in this role is rarely a good sign. We keep our fingers crossed that despite everything, the project is on the right track, and that it finally talks about it again in this year 2022.
