Sky offers and wow deals in May 2023: Current discounts and costs at a glance

In May 2023 you can again save money or receive bonuses with the pay-TV provider Sky through special offers and refer-a-friend advertising. The current prices of all Sky packages and the current discount campaigns from the streaming service Wow (formerly Sky Ticket) can be found in our overview.

Sky offers: All Sky packages at a glance

The Sky basic package becomes Sky Ultimate TV/Entertainment Plus. The basic subscription consists of Sky Entertainment and a Netflix subscription as well as Sky Q, Sky Go and HD reception. In the cheapest version of Sky Ultimate TV for currently 15 euros you get the basic Netflix subscription, but you can also complete your Sky subscription with the HD or UHD subscription from Netflix.

As usual, you can expand the Sky basic package with Sky Cinema, Sky Bundesliga, Sky Sport and Sky Kids. Those who book Sky Cinema also get the new Paramount+ streaming service for one year free of charge.

Sky offers for new and existing customers

The packages are available at a fixed price in an annual subscription. From the 13th month you automatically switch to a monthly subscription and can flexibly cancel your Sky package on a monthly basis. If you decide to extend your Sky membership for another annual subscription, you will get another price advantage. The connection fee is waived.

You can find out how much the basic package and the add-on packages (called “premium packages” by Sky) cost from our list. In brackets you will find the total price. Existing customers receive exclusive offers when booking further packages. Sky customers can also use the Paramount+ streaming service free of charge for a year.

Sky provides these add-on options

To get even more out of the Sky subscription, the provider offers three add-on features: Sky Go Plus for 5 euros per month, multiscreen for 10 euros per month, UHD for 5 euros per month. There is also an add-on option for DAZN.

• Sky Go Plus allows you to use a total of three streams simultaneously via the Sky Go app. You can register five devices and change devices five times a month.
• With multiscreen you can watch Sky on additional TV sets. This works via the Sky Q app and another Sky Q receiver or Sky Q Mini. So you can watch Sky on up to five devices at the same time, register five devices and make five changes a month.
• The UHD-Add-on option provides you with brilliant Ultra HD quality. So you can see the approximately 130 annual sports events, 150 films and 10 Sky Originals in the best quality.
• For 18.99 euros per month you can DAZN add to the annual subscription.

Wow offers: Monthly cancellable alternative Sky Ticket becomes Wow

If you don’t feel like a 12-month subscription, you can also use the alternative Wow (formerly Sky Ticket), which can be canceled monthly. You can cancel your booked subscriptions up to the last day of validity, otherwise your subscription will be extended.

• Wow series subscription for 7.99 euros per month in a 6-month ticket (after that 9.99 euros per month)
• Wow series subscription for 9.99 euros per month in a monthly subscription
• Wow films & series for 9.98 euros per month in a 6-month ticket (after that 14.98 euros per month)

• Wow live sport for EUR 29.99 per month (cancellable monthly)
• Wow live sports, films & series in an annual subscription for 29.97 euros per month (after that 44.97 euros and can be canceled monthly)

Sky refer-a-friend

Sky offers for Vodafone customers: Horizon TV Cable with Sky packages

Vodafone customers can easily add the Sky packages to their GigaTV Cable and GigaTV Cable including Vodafone Premium tariff.

If you take out one or more Sky packages as a Vodafone customer, you get the packages without a Netflix subscription, but you also pay less than with Sky direct. An activation fee of EUR 29 is due. The subscription can be canceled one month before the end of the minimum contract period.

Sky Extra is the pay TV provider’s loyalty program. The longer you are a customer, the more benefits Sky wants to offer you. Membership is free for Sky customers. You can find out which extra status you have from our list.

The advantages that Sky-Extra offers you are individual and include special services, special conditions for Sky products, exclusive partner offers and the opportunity to take part in weekly competitions for exclusive events and experiences.

As examples, Sky shows film premieres on the red carpet and visiting sporting events as a VIP. As a welcome gift, you can choose a film from the Sky Store for free. This is then permanently available to you. Sky Extra participants also get one year of Discovery+ for free.

At the moment you can win VIP and stadium tickets for the last day of the Bundesliga. You also have the opportunity to secure various technical highlights and VIP Formula 1 tickets for the 2023 Austrian Grand Prix.

Is there a free trial month for Sky and Wow?

At Sky and Wow there are always special promotions where you can test the pay TV service or the streaming service free of charge for a certain period of time. However, there is currently no trial month or trial version.

However, you can save the equivalent of 1-4 months with Wow by taking out the long-term subscriptions (6-12 months) instead of the monthly subscription.

Sky Ultimate TV deals: The best deals for entertainment fans

Sky is perfect for all series fans who want to watch series from HBO and many other US channels shortly after the US broadcasts. You can also watch past seasons and stream Sky Originals productions.

Sky Entertainment is part of the basic subscription to Sky and is always included. The annual subscription costs just 15 euros per month, the monthly subscription available from the 13th month costs 27.50 euros per month and can be canceled monthly. Also included is the Netflix standard subscription. You can also choose Netflix HD or Netflix UHD subscription for an additional charge.

Sky film offers: Sky Cinema brings the cinema home

Cinema and film fans are with the Sky Cinema package well served. With Sky Cinema you can see the latest Hollywood blockbusters as exclusive TV premieres and without commercial breaks. If you want to book the Sky Cinema in addition to the basic package with Sky Entertainment Plus, you pay in Annual subscription 25 euros per monthin a monthly subscription from the 13th month 41 euros per month.

Sky Sport offers: Watch football, Formula 1 and tennis live

In the Sky sports package you can see all games of the UEFA Champions League in the original Sky conference as well as most German individual games exclusively. You can also play all games of the DFB Cup individually and live in the original Sky conference.

Next to football awaits you with transmissions of the Formula 1, handball, tennis and golf a wide variety of sports. If you book the sports package in addition to the basic package, you pay in the Annual subscription 20 euros per monthmonthly subscription from the 13th month 28 euros.

With the Sky Bundesliga package you can see 266 games of the Bundesliga and all games of the 2nd Bundesliga live and exclusively. Sky Kids offers: The new additional package for children

Sky offers an additional package for your children and promises a great deal with over 4,500 pieces of content Variety of series for your offspring. Also included are linear TV channels Nick Jr., Nicktoons, Junior, Boomerang and Cartoon Network.

In the Kids fashion Only Sky Kids content can be accessed. If you want to book the kids package in addition to the entertainment package, you pay in the Annual subscription monthly 25 eurosthen 35 euros in the subsequent monthly subscription.
