Sky: Power failure paralyzes pay TV providers (Update: Fixed)

Can’t you see any Sky channels at the moment? You are not alone with the problem. A power outage is to blame.

Update Jul 15 7:43am As Sky announces, the disruption has now been resolved. All channels should be receivable again without any problems.

Original message from July 14th

Complaints about reception problems have been increasing in our Sky fault indicator since around 6 p.m. Now the reason for this is known. As Sky announces on Twitter, there are still reception problems due to a power failure. We are working on restoring the signals.

The TV services Telekom MagentaTV and Vodafone’s IPTV offer GigaTV are also struggling with similar problems.
