(CercleFinance.com) – SLB announces that it has launched a carbon storage screening and ranking solution that ‘increases confidence in site selection decisions based on scientific analysis of the long-term integrity and economic potential of ‘active’.
The solution helps customers avoid sub-optimal storage sites with risk factors that can reduce the likelihood of a carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) project reaching the final investment decision ( FID).
This solution uses proprietary tools, complemented by advanced digital workflows, to ‘provide a rapid, traceable and consistent data validation process, with a focus on risk identification’, according to the oil services group.
